Show Notes Transcript

As a man who switched up his whole life and career, James Guzzetta has an interesting story to share.  He had whole careers in IT and later running medical device companies (CEO of 2 of them), but a sudden loss of his business partner and friend caused him to let go of his old life and embrace a new way of working with and coaching others and ultimately, he realized, helping them to heal.

Talking to him about his journey was really interesting and enlightening. His shamanic experience with his power animal (the hummingbird of all things) led to powerful validation in his backyard!

I didn't realize we had these shaman experiences in common and ended up sharing one of mine. It can really be a powerful tool for spiritual and self-discovery. And the methods are ancient!

James also weighed in on his study of how the spiritual and the scientific worlds relate to one another, and I asked if he knew Greg Braden who speaks about the same thing.. (who I really enjoy reading) and James answered "I breathe Greg Braden."

He also shared his technique of "deep listening" and how it helps people to feel truly heard.

I am so humbled by who ends up finding me and this podcast. Loved talking to James. Hope you enjoy listening.

Unknown:

Hi and welcome to The Storied Human. I'm Lynne Thompson and my guest today is James Guzzetta. He is a transformational life coach and healing guide. He has an extensive music background and is a former fortune 500 IT consultant. He was the CEO of two medical device startups and he's a shamanic practitioner. So he's pretty much a renaissance man. As a musician, James studied classical world electronic, and improvisational music, where he learned invaluable listening skills. And as a CEO of two medical device startups, he learned and worked with physicians, physicists, engineers, and marketing personnel to bring new products to market. Now based on a traumatic incident, he has caught he has been called to serve others, to guide them in their healing, transforming and realizing their life purpose. His workshops, courses and other offerings, provide his clients with tools and methods needed to navigate their life journey challenges. He's also a founding member of the healers connection, which is preparing a virtual summit to be broadcast in July 2024. Based on the quantum journey, our past are now our future. And we'll talk a little bit more about that at the end of our interview. But I want to get to this welcome, James. I would so good to have you. Thank you. Yeah. And it's really an honor to be here with you and talking about things that are both interesting for both of us. And your audience. Yeah, my audience loves stories, and you've got a good one. I think your journey is really fascinating. I mean, most people don't do two of those things, let alone all of those things. So tell me just a little bit about how you got where you are now, what led up to you changing so drastically, actually, really from corporate CEO to healer? Yeah. Well, when I was in the corporate environment, what occurred to me was that this is not the place I really need to be. There, there were I was creative in a certain amount. But I found that it was also very constraining to who I was as a person. And having had the contact with myself through music before that. It was it made it even more heightened as a disparity between the corporate environment and who I was. So I was as at one point, I was a consultant with KPMG, after my stays in the corporate world. And we had an opportunity that came up where I established the Federal Medical Device startups, we had something that was really powerful, and I think could actually transform the way that certain kinds of procedures, minimally invasive procedures can be done within the MRI, and use monitoring equipment that is unable to unable to be used within the MRI because of the electrical interference. So we've transcended that we're able to get the product in a prototype. And this is where the event occurred. I had a conversation with my friend of 20 years, and he was my good friend, and also was my technical lead. And we had a conversation that previous morning, and the next morning, I got a email from his wife saying on the passing of Steve, and I thought, wow, wait, wait, I just talked with Steve what's, what's this about? contacted her? And she said, Yeah, you know, he came back after a walk, sat down in his Barca laundry, and he said, You know, I'm not feeling too good. And within 10 minutes, he was basically gone. Oh, my God. So it was really fast. And that's how Steve worked his life. You know, he he was mega mind when it comes to? He was an engineer. And when you talk to engineers, sometimes you'll ask question, and by 10 minutes later, get your answer, Right. Steve, it would go 1520 30 minutes, and he's still leaning towards the punch line. Well, I needed to at that point, determine what do I do with a company because Steve had all of our IP, all of our work that we had been done in his server farm in his house, right. His wife didn't have any clue about computers, so she couldn't help out. He was in point Roberts, which you have to get over the US Canadian border and then come back through the Canadian to US border to get to his place during COVID He passed, Canada stopped all us, travelers into Canada. So I couldn't even get up there. So it became one of these things where I had to make a decision, do I keep the company going somehow? Or do I hold it? And it ended up where we ended up having to fold it. So I'm sitting, wondering, Okay, what's next in my life now. And it was one of these kinds of stories where I had this experience of this kind of, it was kind of a light just permeated me around me. And, and I got this thing that said, there was almost like a voice saying, Well, you love to work with people. What is that about? What do you want to do with that, and I felt that, you know, I've got so much experience through music and corporate and all these other life experiences that we all end up having. But I've moved through them successfully, my music has given me a lot of almost shamanic guidance, because of the nature of music development. And I can talk about that maybe a little bit later. But basically, when I decided to do this work of it started off as life coaching, and then I realized it's really personal transformation, and healing. I'm the guide, because I believe that people heal themselves. You know, physicians really don't heal people. And healers don't kill people directly. You can create the environment for them, and they can heal themselves. So that was the work that I decided to in my life worked for the rest of my life, basically. It what it did for me, though, is that decision pulled on all the information and experiences that I had since I was, I've been a musician since I was about four. And it from that time on all those experiences became part of my new work. So it was like a very healing and a very cathartic and transforming process for myself. So what I like to do is I like to work with people get to know who they are, essentially, and who they are as a personality, because that is part of all who we are. And then be able to work with them in a way that can help them move from where they feel stuck, perhaps, or where they've, they're waking up to new possibilities, but don't know exactly where to go with that. And I can help work help them to get on a path that really is in tune with what who I believe they really are. So that's where we are right now in terms of the work. I've been able to develop almost channel, workshops, courses. I'm now as we mentioned, I'm we're putting together a summit for this next year for this year, and also retreats. So retreats are going to be based on nature environments, where people can get a different sense, a different environment that will clue them into basically who their true self is. And then from there we can work and really develop, help develop their transformation and rite of passage into a new way of life. I love that. I love that whole journey. I love the way you describe how you heal that that people do heal themselves. I've read that a lot of places. I think it rings true. And so you're there attending, you're like the supporter, you're not doing any magic, you're there for them. And that just feels right. And also the shamanic thing I'm very, very interested in that I've had shamanic classes actually had a healer on here who said I am a shaman and I always feel felt like I connected with that and just didn't expand upon it yet. But it's very powerful, what you're talking about getting around nature and and really allowing yourself to, to do that more ancient kind of connection with nature, which we used to do, you know, so long ago, and I always say, I trust those practices that have been around for 1000s of years a little more than I trust the 150 year old psychology, you know, it has its place but to me that's so intriguing that shamanic practices are similar around the whole world and have been in existence for 1000s of years. Obviously, they did something for people, you know, we used to get together and do rituals together. And I just love that whole folk It's on that I think that's so cool that when, what is our timeline? Like when did this first happen when you lost your friend, and you had to let go of your business? That was about four years ago. And it was right at in beginning of January. I mean, yeah, they had a gathering of their tribe on Zoom. And of course, I was there to Steve was, who is my partner kind of took a very different position in that zoom session. He was kind of recessive. I could tell that he was really engaged, but he was kind of pulled back a bit. And it was almost as in retrospect, it was almost as though I got a sense that he had a feeling that this might be the last time he sees his tribe. You know, during that same session, it didn't really, I mean, it only was a fleeting kind of thing at the time. But after it made sense to me that wow, you know, so a few days later, this was like, I think Christmas, and then just a few days after New Years, is when I got an email from his wife. So it was boom, boom, and boom, another boom with the company having to be folded as well. So, you know, there were a couple, and this is the interesting part of it, I was gonna say there was a double grief. Well, there, there definitely was with Steve, there definitely was with the company being folded. But I realized that the grief was kind of very, I don't want to minimize it, but it was kind of surface. It didn't go really deep like it has with other people that have been really close to the past. And I had a conversation with his wife about a week later. And she said, unsolicited, before I said, what my experience was, she said to me, you know, the thing is that I don't feel any kind of grief. It was almost as though it was this beautiful send off to Steve, without attachments with by our grief. And when I looked at grief, I mean, I've grieved other people, but passing but I it's it, what I find for myself is that it's the loss that I feel. It's it's not the loss of them. It's the loss that's left with me, that I need to fill or resolve for myself. And it taught me something about trauma, that trauma can have a physical, emotional, mental, you know, kind of impact on us. But what we end up doing sometimes is creating a story about the trauma. And then we live with a story of the trauma and the trauma. And the the trauma itself and the story are not necessarily related. That's it's a really interesting, I guess, kind of an insight. But people, some people treat the story of the trauma, they want to dig into all the parameters. And what we find is that that's really not the most effective thing. It's a somatic source that you need to get to, to help treat or release the trauma. The fact that trauma is actually deeper than that. That layer in the story is a layer right on top of that. Exactly. Yeah, that's so interesting. Yeah, yeah. So I've done scuzzy. I've done a lot of research and study into the correlation between or the confluence, I guess you'd say, between ancient wisdom, shamanism, other traditions, and our modern science. When I say modern science, what I mean is science that has been opening up to new realizations, quantum realizations over the last 1015 20 years. Not the 150 years ago, science that we're still being taught in our education system and talked about as reality right. So what we're going we're coming to right now is an awakening of who we are, what we are as spirit human beings, and how this world works. You know, the idea of and I imagine many or your audience would know the term field when it comes to the interconnection between all of us all life on all material, actually, if you an energy. So it's at a quantum level, everything is energy, and this is where the shamanistic practices Start, they start at the quantum level. They don't talk about it like that. But they that when you look at essentially what they're doing, that is where they're coming from. And it transposes itself into life as we experience it, through our bodies in this world. And so what I'm finding now is that there's this awakening, happening, planetary wise, excusing, it's kind of getting, or either over a cold, I think it's over the Silikal. That we're starting to wake up to the fact that there is something more than our societies have given us, in terms of systems is part of evolution. It's not a criticism. It's just, this is where we are. And now it's up to us who we're waking up to, like, make a decision about our lives and how we spend our lives, in terms of making this place. more economical, harmonious connection with each other with all life, especially the planet, which is given all life, its its birth, you know? So the thing is, how do we achieve that? And I think it's a matter of going inward first, being able to clear the things in your own life that you need to shed, just like they talk about the serpent in the in shamanistic practice, the serpent is connected to the earth, its belly is on the earth all the time unless it climbs up into a tree, right? But most of the its life, it's on the earth, and it feels the pulse of the earth continuously. And then it sheds its skin. And when it sheds its skin are the lesson we have to learn is that how often do we let go of old habits that don't really serve us any longer. So that and then you move to the Jaguar, and the Jaguar is now taking that serpent, with its new skin, if you will, and evolving it upward into the mental feeling zone, where you now can engage in your life in a way that is like the the brave warrior, the spirit warrior. And then you move on to the hummingbird the eagle, you know, and this is the spirit realm now where you're entering with the hummingbird into the the first of all, kind of like the Akashic record level. And then the eagle is is the Enlightened level where the eagle can see everything you know, from high heights, and be able to be detailed in its pursuit of pray or whatever it's going for. So manifestation, right, yeah. And so my studies and my passions have really been in the process of learning more about the the integral elements of transformation, and how we can bring that about through exercise, through example, through experience, you know, it's a wonderful, wonderful thing to be involved in. I think it's so I feel like you were called to this and you're doing what you're supposed to be doing and you're helping so many people because you're delving into this. Have you ever read Gregg Braden, you reminding me of Gregg Braden, that intercut I love him that interconnect? I kind of breathed bringing Gregg Braden Yeah. Well, you aren't Gregg Braden, because your background is it and my background is it? And I've always been like into weird spiritual stuff. So I love that integration. That's what I kept hearing in my mind when you were talking was the integration, and that you're helping people also with their integration, that that's your thing, you know, that you're able to bring together different. I mean, your, the worlds that you lived in are so different, but not really. I mean, programmers and music, getting it, Brittany's music, it really does. And I'm, I find my work and it has been super creative. You know, I just feel like people are creative, and they don't know it, you know, problem solving and all these like different approaches, although it can be kind of limiting to be in the corporate world. It's nice that you broke out. And I'm so struck with how you broke out like that very disturbing and upsetting incident, but it forced you to let go of the business who knows when you would have right? And then exactly, it propelled you that that's a very similar theme I hear all the time right? any illness or traumatic incident, the universe forces you out of one way, it forces you to let go of one thing. Yeah. And you move into what you're supposed to really be doing. That's really a very key essential point. And in the in, I've what I find my work being about you, I love the dark. And there's, there's a statement I need to bring out before that. And that is that. My sense is that we are light, we are we are made of light, and light forms, how who we are and what we are. And our, our How to, it's almost like the pursuit in, in this life form is about experience, having the having the experiences that we can only have in a body that allow us relationship between us, even though we're of the same source. So it's like we're remembering ourselves back to the place or maybe forward to the place where we all are connected again, consciously right? Then what I find is that the dark has many different manifestations. You know, we see it in our politics today, where there's so much controversy, there's so much contention and argument, and now we've got what 22 wars on the planet happening simultaneously. And the end, the content of the wars are starting to escalate. Where, you know, the Hamas Israel debacle is really now showing us things that we've never seen in wars, or at least the coverage of wars before. And what is it that means to us? You know, do we just continue to accept more and more of the darkness penetrating the our light? Or do we allow the light to strengthen and just be what it is, and let the dark be? The lessons that are potential for us to learn. And I feel like this is going back again, to the shamanistic approach practices, you know, the rituals and ceremonies. That's what they're all based on. It's it's looking at how we can honor the experiences that we have in our life, no matter how dark they may be, and allow ourselves to be receptive to what the lesson is, or the gems or the jewels that are there for us as part of our life. I love that that makes so much sense. And we need people to wake up to a different way. I mean, that's what people are saying. And I'm seeing a little bit of people covering, not on mainstream media, but I do see people saying, This can't go on, you know, people are caring about in a different way, people are waking up to the fact that this is absurd. You know, I've never heard so many people talking like that before. And it makes me feel good, because I feel like I scream at the screen, like almost every day about why are they doing that, you know, it just doesn't make any kind of sense at all. Not that I ever agreed with war. But it's just this unbelievably obvious thing to me now, that we don't have to be this way. And I think that's such a wonderful thing to think of other people in the world waking up to that. And if you can support that. Excellent. One thing occurred to me when you were talking about, you know, we come to inhabit flesh bodies to experience maybe we're the universe experiencing all kinds of different things so we can understand and take it back to the Akashic Record. During one of my shamanic classes years ago, it was the Celtic shamanism class, which is my very favorite, because I think, you know, genetically or ancestrally, I connect with that. She had us she had his journey with a question, which is great when you're first starting your journey. And she said, I want you to journey and ask this question. What is sacrifice? And I thought that was a really cool question. And we were told, you know, we had drumming in the background, it was really cool. We got to this alternate state of consciousness. Some of us went up into the sun. Some of us went underneath, I always went underneath I love the I just love the Earth. I could see the roots sticking out of the tunnel. I was like hurtling through this tunnel. And I got to this place that was a beach and I felt very strongly it was in Ireland like a very long time ago. And there were women dancing around a fire at night. And one of them had really long red hair, like wavy, long red hair. And you know, I know people feel like they might have made this up when they have a journey or it sounds like I made it up but they wasn't anything I've ever seen before. I definitely didn't make it up. I mean, I could have imagined it, but it certainly felt real. And I asked the question of these women, I said, What is sacrifice? And they said, to become flesh for the Spirit to come into the flesh, that sacrifice, and I was like, Whoa, and I came back out of the journey. And I told the teacher and she's like, I really liked that. And I said, Who was that red haired woman? She goes, I think it was Bridget, who's like, you know, in Irish? cosmology, right? There's no, and to me, it was such a beautiful, first sort of learning, because I didn't really think of it that way back then you know, that we sacrifice something when we come here, that it's not easy to be in a body. And some of us really don't like it. I've read really funny posts on on social media about okay, okay, I've learned my lessons. But really did I have to choose such a difficult, you know, life path, like I've had enough. And I think that that is sort of how it feels sometimes to be here. And I remember someone else saying to me, if you are a shaman, or you're leaning that way, she said, you're going to, you're going to find that you're going to have these illnesses, you're going to have tests, and I was quite ill. I had several illnesses. So it's very interesting how people transition to understanding these concepts. It's a beautiful story, you relate, you know, I love shamanic journeying as well. And the thing is that there's this cross, there's this threshold between imagination as a projection. And I don't know if there's this actual word, but imaginal zation imaginal realization, that is the other side of that veil that is still using the same faculties as imagination. But it's not a projection now. It's, it's, it's like being able to perceive with the other side of the veil. I know, I had a kind of a similar experience in a way there to two stories, if you don't mind my relating these Oh, I'd love to hear them. Are you kidding? So the power animal journey, you know, so you go, you know, the the whole, they all start pretty much the same way you're in this beautiful meadow, you see this enormous, incredible tree in the distance you walk, actually, you're not walking, you're kind of gliding over the earth towards that. And then there's this opening within the tree. And you follow that trees taproot all the way down into the earth. And then it leads to these kind of caverns or elongated, natural tunnels where you might have a river, passing through it. And so you cleanse yourself in the river, you get into the water, and you float down, and you end up in this. In this case, it was a large cavern, right? I went in it, and I'm looking around, and there's absolutely nothing no one no thing there except for the cavern crystals. And then I start hearing this from from sound. And I thought, wow, what the heck is turned over to my right. And here is this enormous hummingbird. It must have been like six foot long with a equal wingspan. And it was looking at me. And it was just fanning its wings staying in place, you know, but it was kind of like it scale, brought it into a slower motion. So instead of the, you know, we have the wings where I heard that other thumping sound. And that was a so I came home. I'm sitting on my deck in the backyard. And here comes the hummingbird. And then there's another one and another one. And another one. There ended up being like five or six hummingbirds kind of hovering around me sitting at the table working on my computer, right? And I thought, wow, that's cool. I mean, I I had never had a connection to hummingbird before. Okay. This kind of settled it for me. You know, the hummingbird and you didn't have a hummingbird feeder. So no, not at the time. Right. That's even weirder. No, no, they were just coming around because I have a lot of plants, you know, around the house and there were some not gardenias but geranium that were really brilliant read, you know, yeah, they love their tractor to read. But I was they were often a little different area than where I was sitting but these tummy britches kind of hovered there for about five minutes or so and then they kind of took off Well hummingbird as I learned is associated with the the sixth and the eighth chakra. So our voice, throat and Akashic records, right? And this is where the hummingbird is. This is its domain, in we can tap into any of the power animals that we make contact with. But in this case, the hummingbird I was tapping into almost the you know how a lot of shamans talk about transmogrifying themselves shapeshifting to the and I didn't realize that that was happening. But as I just focused on the hummingbird, I started becoming an the essence of the hummingbird. And I was understanding the language of, of their interactions with each other, and with with their environment. So it just that one touched me in a way that, you know, this is like about three years ago, and this is what we're I'm still living with now. And it's growing with me. There was something else Oh, yes, there was another experience where we did something similar where you said some people went to the sun, and some others went underground? Well, this was one where you, I went to the moon, and then I started moving out towards the other remote planets. And when I got to Neptune, between the Neptune and Uranus, I made contact with this being that was it was kind of funny, in a way, it was almost as though they were either shy, or they had detected something that they didn't understand and felt uncomfortable about coming in closer towards the Earth, maybe towards the sun. And and so I asked the question, well, you know, hello, who are you? And they said, I'm a traveler. And I asked, well, you know, would you like to visit any of the other planets here. And they they said that they weren't sure that it was safe for them? Well, if you look at the activity on the earth, I could kind of get that, you know, like, here's people on this planet that are supposed to be living together with nature, fighting and killing each other, and doing it in pretty horrific ways. And that history, I think, from the perspective of someone who's a traveler like that, my sense is that it could probably detect the history, not only of the activities that are going on right now. So it's, it's one of these things where it told me that, okay, if I could contact someone like that, out in the perimeter of our solar system, we're not alone. We have contacts here on the planet all the time. There's, we operate as though we are alone. And we're in this closet fighting and battling each other for space, and territory. And it's like, what is the point if we can open the door of the closet and find ourselves in a much more compatible and harmonious place? Yeah. So this is part of the awakening, I believe. Yeah, I think so too. And so people talk about as far as dimensions like, you know, the shift from 3d to five D. Yeah, people feel it, whatever they call it, they feel it. And if we can just get more people to work with you and get, you know, truly awakened. There'll be a, whatever that word is, you know, there's a term there's a tipping point, right. But enough things are acquired. And I, and I think it's scaring the darker people of the world because there's this concerted effort to privatize the internet and to monitor the internet. And because that's the great democratization. I was just listening to someone talk about that. And it really hit me, between the eyes, especially when you're like our age, and you've seen the rise of the Internet. And you've seen the connecting of people. And you see, you've seen the evolution. It's really hard to hide information. And it's, you know, we're sharing information. And what does that mean? I realized it means I feel more like other people than I've ever felt. I see people from all walks of life. I see people on the internet from other countries, and they're just like me, and that is what the darker forces are the controlling whatever. There's no I don't think it was to expose. I don't think it's organized, but I think there's pockets of people that really love power. I mean, who knows? That? I hear what you're saying. But I also believe that And I know from while Greg does braid and talks about this quite a bit as well as other people, were for 70 years. Well, you can, if you're a give away my age here, if the gray hair doesn't already, back in the 50s, President Eisenhower, when he left office said, be wary of the industrial military complex. Well, we heard that message, but we didn't know really what it meant, because we what is that? You know, well, corporations and military, basically, on the planet, if you look at it from a resource perspective, they've had this plan in place for 20, for 70 years now, since the 50s. The World Economic Forum, NATO, and corporations, and many governments on the planet already are part of this planning for being able to, well, digital currency is one step, or it's the ability to have monitoring capability for everyone on the planet. Yeah, look at all the transactions we occur, incur, and then see the behavioral patterns behind that. Yeah, so the behavioral patterns, just like social media, is looking at those same things, those same elements and creating avatars, which then can be optimized for how you market to people, because you want to not only market to them, and have them buy your product, but you want to contain that market. And you want to control the market. behaviors. Yeah, exactly. So what I find is in the work I'm doing right now, I mean, we're talking at a kind of high level, about these things that are occurring on our planet and the evolution of human being. But I feel that there's really practical pragmatic things that are needed tools, I call them for until end methods for people to help them on their new life path. So when you're awakened, you, you find that there's a new there. Okay, they're awakening from Is this all there is to a realm of possibilities, almost like white noise, right? Everything is possible. Well, what do you do within that context? You need to find yourself within that first, there has to be the orientation. But once you find that point in yourself, or that space within yourself, then it's a matter of, okay, now, what do I do? And there's, I looked at the things that are really critical to us as human beings, storytelling. This is where I started, actually, I love this. Yeah, storytelling is ancient. It's the way that we communicated our experiences to each other so that we can learn cross learn, okay. Getting into who we are, as our personal story ends up becoming universal, because everyone experiences those things in different ways. Right? So what is the power of storytelling that we can use to help facilitate finding your life path? The next step was, I realized that people don't have good listening skills, communication skills, you know, it's like, I had several groups of at least 10 people. And in the course, I wanted to keep it intimate as possible. But I had several of them. And what I noticed was that people would, they would forget what the other person the speaker was saying, within a very short period of time. And I, when I delved into that, I found that, oh, well, I had these other thoughts and feelings that came up and I started not listening to the person at that point. Oh, so how is it that we can learn to have thoughts, feelings, emotions, and yet not let it get in the way of our communication, essential communication with another human being right? And this is what became deep listening for me. And it's an eight step method that is that finds transformation in the in, in real time in conversations, where people have actually broke. And I hear this from the clients. They've had conversations after the course and they come back and tell me that, yeah, we've always had these conventional issues, you know, politics in particular, it's like we ended up arguing, and at this point, I this one person, the client, who taken deep listening said I started practicing deep listening with That friend of mine. And after about 10 minutes, she stopped talking the friend and said to her, the one that was the client and in the course, she said, I don't know what you're doing. But it feels like this. This is the first time no one's really listened to me. And I thought, oh, yeah, so this is the kind of thing that we really need happening. Yeah, you know, that's so good. Yeah, especially for younger people who definitely have shorter attention spans, because they've been on social media so much. They have to relearn how to focus and deep listen, because it's so fun. I've totally relate to that. Because I forced myself to start listening to the other side with a more loving and open heart and just hear what they're saying. And what I keep hearing over and over again, is that we may seem like we're on opposite sides, we're both complaining about the same exact problem, we have slightly different, you know, we disagree about the solution. But we agree about the problem. So let's start there. You know, let's talk about what we agree about. It's really changed how I deal with people. And I don't, I'm trying I mean, I still argue with people sometimes. But it's really important to get to that place, you know, that place of commonality. And I think your deep listening really helps people do that. That's the feedback I'm getting. I love them. Yeah, it doesn't go anywhere. Otherwise, you know, we just exactly just like, bang, bang our thoughts against each other. Yeah. So it's, it's it brought to bear another thing, which is, when we say something, we also say it with some form of expectation or anticipation from the other person, right. And if we don't get that we feel disappointed. We feel like they're not really hearing us, though. They're feeling like, so this is where the course really gets into the nitty gritty of the practical elements, we explore those things. And we now apply what I call trigger points, which, when you are, as an example, let's say that you have a conversation that becomes conventional. And you're starting to feel something in your solar plexus, something in your sacral area. And you're not really clear what's going on, but it's kind of a tightness or a restriction. So tune into it, tune into it and become aware of not only what it might be, but also where it is in your body and choose to respond, not react based on it. Okay? When you choose to respond, the choice, and the response choice, kicks you to another level of consciousness as a listener, right? And then the next step is in the responsive portion of the method, you look at what question or clarification Can I ask of the other person that helps us illuminate the situation? That's conventional right now, put light on it and understand what's going on behind the scenes for all of it. And that's the end, you ask the question, that's a second point of transformation for the listener. But excuse me, for the for the speaker at that point. And when you ask the question of the speaker, it shifts them to a different place of consciousness, because now they're thinking about what your question is not what they were doing before, which could have been a rat of political opinion, or something of that nature, right. And so what what happens is that there's this kind of working in partnership to increase this transformation of consciousness and awareness about your interaction about your relationship and look at, you start looking at the content of that contention, as kind of relatively trivial to the important thing, which is understanding each other, and being able to move to another level of consciousness in your relationship. And that's the other part that I found was, I didn't anticipate this. relationships change, I mean, relationships, when when people have taken the course, they find that their relationships change, because they're applying this either consciously or unconsciously in their conversations with their significant other or you know, whoever that might be. So there's some really wonderful stuff that comes out of it that I've been feeling pretty blessed about, because that wasn't part of the original intention, but it's become part of what can be delivered through that deep listening course. That says a lot about you that it wasn't part of the original intention. Because I think when you're on a path, you trust that it'll take you where it needs to take you. And sometimes you're not in total control of that, right? You. I just love that. I love that whole idea that the person is evolving how they interact. And so they, they're changing their relationships, that makes wonderful sense. And I feel like that helps people get unstuck, like you had talked about before. Because we can't see our way out sometimes. And so to have tools like that, I think it's really good. Like to focus on here, try this, you know, I just, I love the whole, your whole area. It just sounds wonderful. So why don't you tell us a little bit more about that summit that's coming in July. I'd love to hear more about that. Oh, great. Thank you. So about I think it's been about six months now ago, I took a course with another facilitator and really wonderful, heartfelt connections, you know, in the in the workshop itself between the people but also with what was being projected towards to us. So several of us, I think about 1314 of us decided to continue meeting separately. So we're healers of various diverse disciplines, you know, everything from astrology, to energy healing to a trauma, recovery, even where we're looking at whales and dolphins and the wisdom that they provide to us. That's my thing. That's, oh, my god, I can't believe you mentioned that. I wasn't gonna bring it up because it was kind of like, you know, off topic. Yeah, I'm obsessed. Gotcha. Quick story here. Okay. So whales and dolphins, they're both mammals. They need to breathe. They live under water. So what happens when there's a new calf born, the calf unless the mother nudges it towards the surface, and and then exempt through example, blows water out the blowhole and takes a breath in then dies back down. The dog or dolphin or the calf whale can actually drown. Okay, they don't have autonomous like we do we can, we can breathe without thinking about breathers. Yeah, that's fascinating. So there's a level of consciousness that is required for these, these particular mammals to be able to survive in the environment that they're living in. Okay. Now cut over to humans. We have autonomous breathing, we have the ability to continue our circulation, heart beating, thinking all those things continue without our having to be involved with it, okay, consciously. But when it comes to spiritual transformation, that is where consciousness kicks in for us. We can drown in the society that we're living in. And many people do that we see more and more suicides these days. People are feeling disappointed and depressed in their environments of work environments. But what is it that makes the difference is applying consciousness to the spiritual development that you're starting to waken up to. Okay. And I think this was just one lesson that we got from observing and interacting with whales and dolphins. You know, it's like, magical. Okay, so what are we doing in the summit? The theme is the quantum journey, our present, excuse me, our past, our present, and our future. And what we're doing is we decided to break it down into six categories. So we have astrology as evolutionary astrology, which is kind of what humanistic astrology was a few years ago. energy healing. Shaman, shamanism is obviously one of them. Trauma, trauma, recovery, and two other categories. So we have speakers that will be coming in to join us that are experts in these areas that we'll talk about these categories related to the theme. And also we want to get them to also talk about their own work. And then at the end of these Summit, which is a series of 18 recorded sessions, we'll have a panel discussion the following Saturday, and in the panel discussion, there'll be many of the speakers and then we'll as healers connection, offer workshops and courses and one on one set. questions that will help anyone who wants to take the next step in their life path. So there's a continuum, there's a story, right to the whole thing. And the journey begins at the summit. Recording sessions. Sounds amazing. How can we sign up for that? Do we go to your website? Or? Um, yeah, I, we haven't developed that yet. We're in the process of getting everything together. But I think by so this is going to be July 23, through the 25th for the recorded sessions. And then August 3, for the panel discussion. We're going to be putting out information about you know, advertising it to the mass, the people and, and then we're going to be setting up a website so that if people want to sign up for the courses, they'll be able to do that right there. And that'll be part of the the copy or the messaging, since great event. So how can we get in touch with you? I'm gonna put that in the show notes. But I want to make sure we ask you. Sure. One good way to get in touch with me is using my email I I'm not a texter phone calls are cool, too. But I want to kind of minimize that. So email would be the best way to do it. And my email for this would be James at journey into and the using the numeric to instead of t o.com. Okay, so James at journey into.com. And those, those get directly to me. And I usually respond within 24 hours to well, if we get a lot of responses for the for the summit, I may be inundated. But I'll try to get back to everyone within a relatively short period of time. And you have a website to write, I have a website as well. That one I'll send to you because it's on a i It's not just as simple as journey into.com. There's another tag on that, which is part of the platform I'm using right now. Okay, so we'll have that one ready, and I'll send the website URL to you later today. Good. Well, is there anything that we missed? Is there anything you'd like to add before we say goodbye? Well, you'd have a great way of providing the best coverage here. It's really important. I'm thinking right now, I think we talked about background leading to what I'm doing. And then what I'm, we're we're doing going into the future here and some of the philosophy and it's not ideology, I think it's more of an intention, you know, that to help others who are awakening and not finding what to do next, you know, this is where we can really help. And so on the team with healers, connection, we've got some incredible people. And we all are coming from the same place. It's very hard felt connection to our work personally, and also to the people that we work with. Well, so I just want to say to you, thank you again for the opportunity. And thank you audience for your being there and being receptive to hearing what we have to say, and we're here for you. Okay. I love it. I know people are gonna love this information, and I can't thank you enough for sharing it. Thanks, James. Yeah, thank you, Lynn.
